Job Description

Responsible for the Management of the ORACLE and MS SQL Database Platform across Vodafone Ghana. Control of the DB systems on day-to-day basis will cover:
  • Configuration Management

  • Administration Management

  • Storage, Backup & Recovery

  • Technical Support

  • Responsibility for ensuring resources support in Testing and Deployment of new components

  • Providing Level 1/2/3 technical support resources in support across the Database Estate in Vodafone Ghana

  • Accountable for planning and small project delivery

  • Required to take decisions best suited for the stability of the Database environment during instability

  • Responsible for the LRP around the Vodafone Database Environment
