Database Administrator

Location: Makati City (Onsite)
Engagement: 1-year project deployment (renewable based on performance and project needs)
Role Overview
We're looking for an experienced DBA to own the day-to-day reliability, performance, and security of our production SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments. You'll design and maintain database systems, implement high availability and disaster recovery, and work closely with engineering and infrastructure teams to keep systems stable and scalable.
Key Responsibilities
Designing, developing, and maintaining databases (PostgreSQL, MSSQL)
Monitoring and maintaining the performance, security, and availability of databases
Troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues
Maintaining database documentation
Developing and maintaining data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans.
Upgrading / migrating databases to the latest supported version.
