Job Purpose :

This position is responsible for ensuring the integrity and security of the databases of all the application servers running within the organization. It also provides support to end-users in case of downtime and system error.

1. Database Administrator

• Executes backup jobs to ensure that backup is ready on demand of the business units and in the event of unforeseen disaster.
• Responsible for monitoring the database server on a daily basis to identify bottlenecks and be able to solve it without losing data
• Creates and maintains all databases required for development, testing and production usage.
• Administers all database objects, including tables, clusters and indexes
