Database Administrator

Job Description:
The Database Administrator (DBA) shall provide professional database administration services to support the migration of the Document Management System (DMS) from an on-premises environment to the Azure SQL Managed Instance in Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) 2.0. The role is structured around critical project phases, with clear delineation between migration execution and knowledge transfer responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities (Critical Migration Phases)
The DBA shall be responsible for the planning, execution, and stabilisation of the DMS database migration, with emphasis on Month 1 & 2 (Preparation) and Month 3 (Migration & Cutover).

• Conduct database assessment and compatibility checks for migration from Microsoft SQL Server 2016 to Azure SQL Managed Instance
