**Responsibilities and Impact:**

+ Perform day-to-day administrative duties on Microsoft SQL Server instances, including backup, restore, and general troubleshooting.
+ Develop and maintain SSIS jobs and write Transact-SQL code for database management and optimization.
+ Conduct performance tuning to enhance database efficiency and responsiveness.
+ Collaborate with software engineers to develop solutions using open-source PostgreSQL or other cost-effective alternatives.
