About the role

The Day Camp Assistantrole will be responsible for assisting the Day Camp Coordinator in the development and execution of summer day camp activities for 4- to 12-year-olds, including supervising children, participating in games and crafts, and ensuring the well-being of participating children.


The position will be on a casual roster and will be based residentially in Red Lake, Ontario.


The compensation for this role will be $17.89 per hour CAD.


Key result areas in this role include:

  • Assist with day camp programs: including recreation, arts and crafts, field trips and other activities.
  • Supervise children participating in summer programming to ensure a safe and caring environment that promotes positive child development.

  • Assist with setting up and cleaning up of all activities.
