Day Camp Counsellor (Outdoor)

Position Details

Hourly Rate: $17.60 per hour. Employment Type: Seasonal Contract (Part‑time hours in June for training, then up to 40 hours per week Mon‑Fri June 22 – Sept 4, 2026). Number of Vacancies: Multiple. Locations: Various locations across the GTA. Anticipated Start Date: June 1, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Ensure program plans are followed and campers experience a fun, safe, and engaging high‑quality camp environment.
• Participate enthusiastically in all camp programs with campers, including recreational swim.
• Build relationships with members, staff, volunteers, and community partners.
• Attend all staff trainings and meetings, arriving on time and actively contributing to the development of all staff members.
• Ensure campers are safely supervised and supported at all times, providing opportunities for all participants to experience success.
