DB2 DBA (IBM Db2 for z/OS)

Work Mode: Remote Notice Period. : 15 to 20 days C2H Position

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize IBM Db2 for z/OS databases.
• Perform performance tuning using EXPLAIN, SQL analysis, catalog reviews, MainView, and Query Monitor.
• Manage backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
• Troubleshoot database, SQL, locking, catalog, and performance issues.
• Implement database security, access controls, authentication, and auditing.
• Design schemas, indexing strategies, normalization, and capacity planning.
• Support production, test, and development environments.
• Collaborate with application teams and provide technical guidance.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM Db2 for z/OS administration.
• Expertise in performance tuning, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting.
