GENERAL SUMMARY: Summary:Perform direct patient cardiac diagnostic testing procedures with appropriate level of skill; in a timely and dependable manner consistent with current standards of care and departmental and/or hospital policy and procedure. Provide age specific care to patients of all ages. Serve as a professional resource to physicians, nursing staff and all other hospital staff. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Accurately perform all echocardiogram studies ordered by physicians, including, but limited to; Transthoracic 2-D, M-Mode, Color-flow Doppler, Transesophageal, Exercise stress and pharmacological echocardiography.2. Accurately perform other cardiac diagnostic studies as assigned, including but not limited to: EKG, Holter prep, monitoring and analysis and Cardiac stress tests.3. Correctly utilizes mechanical devices to provide the best diagnostic information to cardiology physicians to include but not limited to: echocardiographs, cardiac stress systems, e...
