CLASSIFICATION - Substitute


PURPOSE OF THE POSITION - Primary responsibility includes interpreting for student(s) with hearing impairments as required in student’s Individualized Education Plans.

QUALIFICATIONS:

+ High school graduate or equivalent;

+ Fluency in sign language (SLPI Intermediate or Intermediate Plus)

+ Knowledge of correct English usage; conceptually accurate signed English

+ Ability to relate to students with disabilities
