Deli Bakery Team Associate

Position Summary

A Deli Bakery Associate provides exemplary customer service by adhering to the basic beliefs and values of Walmart, maintains and zones the Bakery and/or Deli area, and assists with stocking and the sale of goods.

What you'll do

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organized and product is in the correct location.
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; prepares hot food merchandise and provides requested assistance.
• Prepares deli food orders utilizing utensils; prepares chicken by using rotisserie oven; and fills prepared side dishes for placement into display area.
