Route Manager — Position Overview
The Route Manager oversees teams responsible for snow removal and ice control operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of all tasks before, during, and after snow events. This role requires strong leadership, real‑time decision‑making, and the ability to manage people, equipment, and customer needs in demanding winter conditions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
+ Customer Communication — Handle customer service calls confidently, accurately, and professionally.
+ Crew Leadership — Communicate expectations to heavy equipment operators, salt drivers, seasonal drivers, and sidewalk crews.
