Demand Planner – Overview

Adecco is recruiting for a Demand Planner for their client based in Newbury.

Key Duties

• Build and maintain demand forecasts for spare parts using historical data, trends, and system insights.
• Track and manage inventory levels across a large SKU range to balance availability and stock efficiency.
• Create purchase orders in SAP and liaise with HQ regarding inbound deliveries.
• Assess the existing spare parts catalogue and highlight items suitable for discontinuation based on usage and lifecycle analysis.
• Work closely with teams to ensure inventory decisions align with business objectives.
• Prepare rationalisation proposals and present findings to stakeholders.
• Ensure spare parts master data is accurate and maintained within ERP systems such as SAP.
• Produce routine reports on stock performance, forecast accuracy, and potential obsolescence.
