As Demi Chef, your responsibilities will include:
Assisting the Executive Chef in preparing appetizers, meats, and vegetables for entrees
Ensuring proper food presentation and timely service of high-quality dishes
Participating in the selection and training of new kitchen team members
Following and enforcing health and safety standards in the kitchen
Maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the kitchen and personal hygiene
Working efficiently and quickly under pressure
Collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Monitoring food quality and consistency throughout service
Assisting in menu planning and development
Managing inventory and placing orders for necessary ingredients
Implementing portion control and minimizing food waste
