Job Description
The Dental Admin and Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in managing the administrative functions of the dental practice. This role combines front-desk responsibilities with general administrative support to ensure a smooth and professional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Greet patients warmly (virtually or onsite) and provide exceptional customer service.
Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments using dental practice software.
Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Manage patient intake, including collection and verification of personal, insurance, and medical information.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Process billing, insurance claims, and payments in coordination with the billing team.
