About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Dental Assistant to join our Auckland Regional Hospital & Specialist Dentistry Services in a full time, fixed term (12 months) capacity to cover parental leave.

Key responsibilities

• Chairside assisting in clinics and operating theatres
• Follow all Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Practice Standards as per Dental Council of New Zealand IPC Practice Standard
• Prepare instruments for reprocessing and sterilisation process
• Work collaboratively with clinicians in a range of dental specialties at multiple locations
• Engage in project work and continuing education opportunities
