Dental Surgery Assistant (Havelock Branch)

The Dental Surgery Assistant prepares a working space in a dental facility for dental examinations and procedures. Job duties include the preparation of dental instruments and materials for the dentist and ensuring they are properly sterilised. He/She also handles administrative tasks, such as scheduling of appointments and filing dental records. Duties & Responsibilities Assist dental surgeon(s) in all forms of dental treatment, Attend to all patients seeking treatments and/or making enquiries at the clinic promptly and courteously, Maintain and ensure cleanliness of the clinic and treatment room, Maintain dental equipments and instruments in good working condition, Discharge patients by dispensing medication, collecting payment and scheduling of next appointment, Develop X-ray/OPG for assessment of treatment, Send, receive and monitor cases that are sent to the dental laboratory, Ensure high standard of infection control.
