Dental Laboratory Technician

Knowledge & Skills:

• Fabrication of zirconia crowns and bridges
• Setting removable partial and complete dentures
• Fabrication of orthodontic appliances (nightguards and clear retainers)
• Operation of 3D printers and intraoral scanners
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM systems
• Skilled in wax and porcelain build-up
• Strong understanding of dental materials

Experience:

• Minimum 1–2 years of dental laboratory experience

Soft Skills:

• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent hand–eye coordination
• Ability to accurately follow dentist prescriptions
• Effective time management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team

Other Qualifications:

• Physically fit (lab work requires prolonged sitting and precise work)
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
