Dental Technologist

Job Responsiblities:

• Prepare and maintain teaching and learning materials, including dental consumables, materials, and tooth models, for undergraduate and postgraduate training.
• Guide and supervise dental students in the fabrication of dental prostheses and appliances, including dentures, special trays, removable orthodontic appliances, and related laboratory projects.
• Ensure students complete laboratory projects in accordance with their programme requirements and scheduled timetables.
• Receive, record, and register written laboratory prescriptions and work orders from clinics and students.
• Design, fabricate, modify, and repair dental prostheses for dental treatment, replacement, and protection, including full and partial dentures, provisional prostheses, crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, orthodontic appliances, implant-supported prostheses, and other prescribed dental prostheses.
