Department Manager (Air & Sea Freight)

Job duties and responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership — Exercise full accountability for Air and Sea freight operations, driving team performance, process efficiency, and overall department growth.
• Financial Management — Take full ownership of the P/L, including yearly budgeting, monthly financial closing, and cost-control strategies to maximize profitability.
• Commercial & Relationship Management — Lead high-level negotiations with carriers and customers, ensuring competitive pricing and resolving complex service issues.
• Compliance & Safety — Serve as the final authority for all regulatory compliance, ensuring all operations, permits, and documentation meet local and international laws. This includes overseeing QSHE standards and the maintenance of all Safety and Quality manuals to ensure audit-readiness.
