Departmental Facilities Assistant

The Departmental Facilities Assistant is critical to the smooth running of the Department of Aeronautics to ensure that the environment in which our staff and students work and study is at the highest standards.

What you would be doing

You will be among the first of our colleagues on campus at the start of the day to ensure the Department’s common spaces, meeting rooms and teaching spaces are prepared.

You will be proactive with excellent attention to detail, high standards, and will work closely with the Building Champions and other colleagues in the Property Division to ensure that any issues with maintenance or cleaning are properly logged and addressed in a timely manner. These skills will also be critical in the reporting and analysis required to enable the department to demonstrate consistency in its receipting of goods and associated timely payment of invoices.
