Responsibilities Provides programming input and advice in terms of mining expertise, interprets implications of inspection findings and enforcement actions, and makes recommendations as appropriate. Conducts conferences and meetings with headquarters and field offices and staff with expertise in specific subject-matter areas or on other related matters for the exchange of information, ideas, and recommendations regarding mine performance evaluations and overall evaluation of the effectiveness of MSHA's mine safety and health program.
