Role: Deputy Data Protection Officer
Salary: Grade L £50,269 - £53, 460 per year
Location: Hybrid Working, Remote Working & the Council House
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week
Closing Date: 8th February 2026
Contract Type: Permanent

Derby City Council is looking for a Deputy Data Protection Officer to play a leading role in ensuring the Council meets its legal obligations under the Data Protection Act (2018) and UK General Data Protection Regulations.
Managing a team of Information Governance colleagues, this critical role is responsible for delivering a range of projects whilst supporting senior leaders and the wider organisation with expert advice that keeps us compliant.
