Job Summary

The Deputy Director of Midwifery (DDOM) is a key position within the Directorate Management Team, reporting to the Director of Midwifery. The role focuses on day‑to‑day delivery of high standards of care across integrated care pathways and services, with operational accountability for workforce, service delivery, clinical quality and safety, financial control, and the Trust's strategy and corporate objectives.

As a visible, experienced clinical leader with a deep understanding of the national maternity and neonatal landscape, the post holder is committed to safe, evidence‑based care and confident in leading complex services through innovation and change.
