Deputy Manager

Are you a talented and experienced Deputy Manager looking for a new role? We have an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual to join a lovely nursery in Bedord, Northamptonshire

Person Specification:

NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent

Experience of motivating teams and developing practice

Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)

Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)

Some of the responsibilities of the Deputy Manager will include:

Working closely with the Nursery Manager and providing cover for this role as required
Leading by example and ensuring staff are caring for the all-round daily needs of the children to enhance their physical, intellectual,social and emotional development
Ensuring staff effectively implement Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum in daily practice  
Ensuring children are offered age appropriate activities and al staff maintain their children’s learning journals
