Deputy Manager Shift Operation

Job Purpose

The Deputy Manager Shift Operations is responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the power plant during assigned shifts. The role involves assisting in shift supervision, monitoring plant performance, ensuring adherence to operational procedures, and supporting timely resolution of operational issues to maintain plant availability and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient plant operations in compliance with operational, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards while maintaining awareness of plant hazards.
• Coordinate shift-related operational activities with internal departments, the Load Dispatch Centre, and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth plant functioning.
• Implement and support the Permit to Work (PTW) system, plant chemistry coordination, startup procedures, interlock checks, protection testing, and non-routine operational activities.
