Job Description
- Assist in the design and engineering of solar energy systems under the guidance of experienced solar design engineers.
- Contribute to the development of detailed system layouts, schematics, and electrical diagrams using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Learn to utilize 3D modeling software to create representations of site conditions and structures for shading analysis and system optimization. Support the team in identifying shading mitigation strategies, such as avoid shading area or optimized array layouts, to maximize solar energy capture based on site-specific conditions.
- Learn to perform performance simulations and energy production estimates using specialized software tools, considering variables such as system losses, module performance, temperature coefficients, and system orientation.
