Design Co-op (Fall 2026)

At HDR, we are a firm working on architectural projects of varying scales and scopes, and we are looking for Co‑op students who are self‑motivated, eager to learn, and committed to sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Lead Architect and team members on tasks throughout the design and construction process.
• Assist in producing schematic design, design development, and contract documents, including floor plans, elevations, details, sections, and schedules.
• Create 3D views, renderings, and VR walkthroughs.
• Apply architectural procedures and techniques and perform assignments with guidance from senior team members.
• Support contract administration duties, attend site visits and client meetings, and document discussions.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year completed toward a degree with a 3.0+ GPA.
