Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Provide leadership in sheet metal design and construction, ensuring alignment with project goals and constructability best practices.

Participate in estimating turnover and pre-construction meetings, ensuring early trade engagement in design development.

Review and provide feedback on design drawings, specifications, and consultant submissions for accuracy, completeness, and efficiency.

Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to assess alternative design approaches and propose value-engineered solutions.

Lead and participate in design development meetings, supporting coordination between field execution teams and consultants.

Interface with Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) teams to ensure 3D models and shop drawings reflect design intent and are compliant with project agreements.
