Design Engineer

Oversee new product development projects, drive process and design improvements, and spearhead research and development initiatives for a manufacturer of vertical feed mixers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design/drafting team to conceptualize ideas, conduct thorough testing, and revise drawings, bill of materials, and operating procedures.
• Partner with production to identify process gaps, ensure product quality, and streamline builds.
• Lead efforts in liaising with the parts and warranty team for service parts needs, warranty/failure analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Provide guidance to the team of designers, including coaching, managing goals, and aligning with commitments and KPIs.
• Approve drawings and calculations as required.
