Job Description
- Hands on experience of CATIA V5: Part Design, Assembly Design, Surface Design, Drafting & Parametric design
- Hands on experience of Engineering BOM creation and benchmarking with part cost understanding
- Working knowledge of product feasibility, GD&T, APQP, DVP, DFMEA, ECR/ECN, Document control
- Able to understand customer requirements, procedures and implement them
- Coordination with internal departments in driving APQP
- Contribute to the design process improvements, work stabilization and work standardization
- Knowledge of FEA simulation and IATF 16949
- Knowledge of sheet manufacturing processes, material and testing standards
- Knowledge of PLM Enovia
- Knowledge of Automotive Exhaust, EGR cooler and Turbo systems
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering with 8 to 12 years of experience (preferable from automobile industry)
