+ Makes layouts of components, calculates stack-up of detail components, and prepares major cost studies consisting of new details and/or marked prints and all supporting documentation, when necessary, to facilitate operations and ensure that established objectives and budgets are achieved .

+ Conducts design analysis on components and/or assemblies, when required, to ensure that designs are cost efficient, manufacturable, and reliable .

+ Resolves design problems of moderate scope to ensure project completion
