Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Design, Development & Implementation

• Develop
  3D wiring harness designs
  at the vehicle level using
  CATIA V5
• Conduct
  routing and packaging checks
  to ensure quality and proper fit
• Perform
  DMU checks
  for electrical component fouling and obtain final design sign‑off
• Prepare
  fitment drawings
  , control prints, and technical documentation
• Provide solutions for
  DFM/DFA
  and resolve vehicle‑level issues
• Support design‑related activities during build phases at customer locations
• Define electrical components and ensure accuracy of
  pilot builds (first piece)
• Evaluate Engineering Permits and create validation plans based on customer requirements
• Train technicians and support cross‑functional teams
• Build strong working relationships with customers
