Design Engineer

A Brief Summary of This Position:

This position is an individual contributor responsible for structural analysis and design of products to be quoted and fabricated by the Valmont Utility Division, Steel Group, primarily of Utility transmission and distribution structures. Included in this is the full design responsibility for processing specific quotes and orders, general design engineering support for drafting and sales. The incumbent works on the Engineering Team who has responsibility for the design of products for quotation requests and orders. In addition, the incumbent plans, and monitors workflow of design activities to meet milestone dates for projects assigned. The Design Engineer will
