Design Estimator/Engineering

I. JOB SUMMARY:

Own in the industry as either an Estimator or Cost Planner, but whichever term is used they work out how much it costs to supply a building or services to a client. They become involved in a project in its early stages, often whilst in competition with other companies.

I. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Conduct site inspection to determine whether a particular site is feasible for an Andok's outlet (franchise or company-owned).

Prepare sketches, take measurements, note the availability of public drainage, existing electrical and water supplies.

Design new buildings, extensions or alterations to existing buildings for Andok's projects.

Prepare architectural drawings containing floor plans, elevations, plumbing, sanitary lines and roof truss details using AutoCAD and rendering software. These drawings are based on his notes, sketches and dimensions taken during the site inspection.
