Design Team Lead (Architect 3)

Overview Maintaining our provincial building infrastructure is no small job. We’re recruiting for Architects to help our Province achieve big things. The Building Infrastructure Design & Construction Division of the Department of Public Works provides leadership for large public infrastructure projects such as schools, hospitals, offices, correctional facilities, courthouses, and museums.

Responsibilities

Provide architectural technical and design expertise for pre‑design, design, construction, and handover phases.

Guide the pre‑design and design stages and lead the internal DPW design team.

Support construction to ensure projects meet scope, budget, schedule, quality, sustainability and durability, and comply with codes, standards, guidelines and policies.

Manage projects through scoping, schematic design, design development, tender construction documents, construction administration, and occupation and warranty phases.
