Desktop Support Technician

Description
We are seeking Desktop Support Technicians to support a critical merger & acquisition integration. This role will focus on onsite end-user support, device deployment, and user migrations to ensure a seamless Day 1 and post-close transition.
Key Responsibilities

+ Deploy, configure, and image desktops/laptops to corporate standards

+ Perform user migrations, including data transfer, profile setup, and domain alignment

+ Provide onsite desk-side (“floor walk”) support during migration and cutover periods

+ Troubleshoot hardware, software, and access issues (Windows, Office 365, VPN, peripherals)

+ Install and validate business-critical applications post-migration

+ Perform data backup and restoration to prevent data loss

+ Track and manage hardware inventory, including asset tagging and device swaps

+ Support user onboarding to new systems (logins, MFA, email access)
