PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To own and manage all post-production despatch operations, ensuring customers receive their orders on time, in full and in the required condition. You will lead and develop the despatch team to work efficiently alongside production, planning and customer service, while maintaining world-class packing standards for all internal goods movements and keeping despatch costs firmly under control.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Control the despatch and documentation of all finished goods, flat sheet and any other sold products
Ensure delivery notes, pick notes and proof of delivery documentation are accurately controlled at all times
Manage the entire despatch staff complement, including shift scheduling and overtime planning
Ensure each team member has the input tools and resources required to successfully execute their tasks
