Job Description

Position Summary:
The Development Engineer on the Gearbox is responsible for design, develop and improve current and future generations of EV mechanical powertrain systems for Light vehicle / Commercial Vehicle and other applications. The responsibilities will be to develop detailed engineering specifications for gearbox components like gear, shafts, bearings, material selection, heat treatment, and specific focus on micro-geometry definition.
Key Responsibilities:
Gear design and analysis skill for all helical, spur and bevel gears for planetary & parallel axis gearing, etcHands-on-knowledge around establishment of different gear layouts right from the scratch to fit per customer requirements.Focused on development of new EV gearbox technologies and present the ideas in front of management, write technical papers, generate patents, etc.Should have Knowledge in basics of NVH/acoustics/ Powertrain, and Hands on experience in Powertrain NVH assessments...
