Development Engineer Power Electronics (m/f/d)

Celeroton TurboCell is a Swiss based fast-growing technology leader developing and manufacturing high-speed turbo compressors and drive systems using gas bearings for fuel cell applications. The company is based in Volketswil and sells its products worldwide for a broad range of applications including automotive, stationary, marine and aerospace industry.

Your Tasks

• Development of power electronic inverter systems for the control of turbo compressors in fuel cell applications
• Definition of system architecture and functional partitioning of power electronic inverters, as well as development of associated cross-system functions and technologies, such as cooling and manufacturing concepts
• Alignment of technical specifications and coordination of system interfaces between the inverter, the electric motor and the turbo compressor in interdisciplinary development teams
• Performing power loss calculations and circuit optimizations
