Dewatering Mechanical Fitter (mine Infrastructure)

Work Location: Fortescue’s Eliwana mine is located on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama people

Roster: 7D7RNR

The Mine Infrastructure team at Eliwana ensures that mining can operate below the water table and to ensure the site water and power demand has an uninterrupted supply.

Reporting to the Mechanical and Operational Supervisor, this position offers a key role for Fortescue’s Eliwana Mine Services Power and Water team focusing on maintaining water assets which includes centrifugal pumps, portable generators, submersible pumps, isolation, and control valves.

Key Responsibilities

• Routine servicing, maintenance, and breakdown repairs on the fleet of generators and diesel pumps
• Prioritise and attend breakdowns to ensure minimal downtime
