Job description:
We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to join our dynamic team as AGM/DGM - B&C Goods. This role is based at Bhuj (Gujarat) and requires a candidate who is either located in or willing to relocate/travel to the region. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in sourcing and procurement of a wide range of industrial materials, with a preference for those from the heavy machinery manufacturing or steel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead procurement activities for B&C Goods across multiple categories
Develop and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery
Negotiate contracts and manage supply chain risks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and finance
Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
