Dialysis Nurse

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Assess patients before, during, and after dialysis, monitor for adverse reactions, and manage fluid/electrolyte balance.
• Equipment Management: Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot dialysis machines, ensuring safety protocols.
• Treatment Administration: Administer IV fluids, medications (e.g., heparin, iron), and perform vascular access care.
• Education & Support: Educate patients on kidney disease management, diet, and, if applicable, how to perform home dialysis.

Qualifications and Skills

• Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
