Diamond Assorter

Responsibilities

• Grade diamonds based on Cut, Color, Clarity, Carat (the 4Cs).
• Assort stones by size, shape, and quality for matching sets and production.
• Ensure accurate stock classification and tagging.
• Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing diamonds and manufactured jewellery.
• Support pricing, procurement, and manufacturing requirements.
• Maintain records, parcel sheets, and inventory data.

Qualifications

• Experience with Emperor jewellery ERP.
• Strong diamond grading expertise and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of natural vs lab-grown diamonds.
• Working knowledge of colored stones (gemstones) and pearl grading.
• Experience with grading tools such as a loupe, microscope, master stones.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
