Diesel Technician

The Diesel Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing fleet vehicles and heavy-duty trucks within the Mayfair Gearbox Fleet Division. The role requires strong mechanical expertise, the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship to minimise downtime for fleet clients. Key Responsibilities Diagnostics & Fault Finding Perform accurate diagnostics on diesel engines and related systems. Identify faults in engines, gearboxes, clutches, diffs, air systems, braking systems, and driveline components. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess mechanical and electronic faults. Provide accurate feedback to the foreman/service advisor for quoting and repair planning. Repairs & Maintenance Conduct repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines and components.
