• Help dieticians or nutritionists on planning nutrition program
• Plan menus and diet for individuals or groups under direction of dietitian or nutritionist
• Assist in supervising personnel who prepare and serve food
• Help patients complete menus
• Assist dietitians with research in food, nutrition and food service systems
