The Digestive Diseases Technician I – Acute Care, under general supervision of the Endoscopy Nurse Manager, while working closely with the Team Leader of Endoscopy Nursing is responsible for maintaining and overseeing the cleaning and sterilizing of all scopes. Assists with procedures in the GI Lab, OR, Emergency Department and Inpatient Units Works closely with other Digestive Diseases staff to maintain supplies and equipment. The Digestive Disease Technician I and II may participate in on-call rotation nights, weekends and holidays.
