Digital Content Producer

The Digital Content Producer is responsible for creating 3-5 locally focused stories each day for woodtv.com (everything from quick-hits to breaking news and enterprise reports), producing engaging posts for our social channels, editing broadcast copy to ensure it meets digital standards, curating high-performing content from wire services, and zoning homepage layouts driven by data.

This role will contribute to building a loyal audience by being responsive to traffic patterns and audience interest while serving as a steward of our brands.



Position Responsibilities:

+ Publish 3-5 stories per shift (quick-hits, breaking news and reported pieces).

+ Drive website traffic by utilizing best practices related to distribution strategies and audience engagement data.

+ Edit reporter content and package it for web.

+ Curate and aggregate a steady stream of interesting content based on analytics and visitor interests.
