Digital Imaging Technician

Summary This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration, Digitization Division. The Digital Imaging Technician performs duties associated with the digitization and reformatting of original archival records. Responsibilities The full performance level of this position is a GS-08 As a Digital Imaging Technician, you will: Operate one or more digitizing devices to capture raster image files of a range of materials, including loose and bound paper documents of all sizes, photographic prints and film, and three-dimensional objects. Export image files through automated image processing applications or may perform basic, predefined image processing to individual files. The technician may insert supplied metadata into software tools or into image files directly.
