Digital Pre-Print Technician

Overview

Bankside Decor Limited are looking to hire a Pre-Print Technician to work within their digital wallpaper business.

Responsibilities

• Following a structured workflow and internal processes.
• Creating job layouts for various roll requirements specified by the client (both wall murals and wallpaper).
• Artworking labels, pattern books, samples and promotional materials.
• Pre-flighting customer supplied artwork, correcting any file errors and ensuring that the correct .icc profiles are used.
• Working closely with clients on collection sign-offs.
• Make colour adjustments in order to reach best match between client supplied proofs and final production print.
• Processing and ripping files to various printers within the department.
• Liaising with marketing design, marketing and print departments.
• Creating .icc profiles for new substrates.
